'Leveraging Global Resources for Innovation' - A Global BPO Forum Event
The 6th chapter of the Global BPO forum was held on October 5, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara. The event was hosted by the University of Michigan in association with 24/7 Customer. The forum event topic was 'Leveraging Global Resources for Innovation'.
Prof C K Prahalad, renowned management guru, strategist and Professor, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, chaired the event and panel discussion. Jason Grier, VP, Worldwide Consumer Support, McAfee, shared insights from the practitioners' side.
Senior executives from medium and large organisations actively engaged in global sourcing or planning to leverage global resources for innovation attended the event. These included participants from the technology, telecom, retail, travel, media, entertainment and BFSI sectors . Participants had an opportunity to learn how global sourcing has helped leading US corporations to transform, excel, improve and innovate in their respective industries. They got an industry perspective on how leading companies are gearing up to embrace global innovation and foster a culture of collaboration, interdependency and continuous improvement by sharing physical and intellectual resources.
